Quality control and assurance is our number one priority at Peninsula Plastics. Dedicated quality control technicians on every shift make sure all products adhere to the rigorous standards set out in our Quality Management System. Peninsula Plastics has implemented the Good Manufacturing Practices program, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system, and i sNSF and ISO 9001:2015 registered. We believe these programs have increased our ability to best serve our customers and create products of the highest standard.

ISO 9001:2015

Peninsula Plastics is a registered ISO 9001:2015 supplier. This internationally recognized quality management system is the foundation of our quality policies. It enforces our strong focus on our customers, our company approach to internal processes, and drives our desire for continuous improvement. Keeping with this standard, we are always evolving our processes to ensure we can consistently produce quality products and service to our customers.


Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Peninsula Plastics has implemented the internationally recognized GoodManufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure the quality and food safety of ourfood packaging products. Our GMP program covers all aspects ofmanufacturing including standard operating procedures, pest control,sanitation, training, preventive and equipment maintenance, and safe handlingand storage of materials and finished products.


Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)

Peninsula Plastics has implemented the internationally recognized HACCPsystem to ensure food packaging safety. This science based system providesa systematic approach which identifies, evaluates, and controls hazards thatare significant for food safety. Our HACCP plans and systems are verifiedannually by an independent third party auditor.


NSF Product Certification

Globally, the NSF mark represents technical excellence which focuses onpublic health, safety and environmental quality. The NSF mark is used byPeninsula Plastics and gives our customers the assurance that productsbearing the NSF mark have been tested by one of the most globally respectedindependent certification companies in the market.
